Key Features

✓Features. Configurable priorities (solar/AC/utility/battery), 3-step charging, power-save mode, optional WiFi/BMS communication, generator compatible.
✓6kW Must PV3000 VHM Low-Frequency Hybrid Inverter : 48V system with integrated 80A MPPT solar charger, AC charger, pure sine wave output, and LCD for monitoring.
✓Ritar Deep-Cycle Batteries. Scalable bank (e.g., multiple 200Ah 12V AGM or Gel models, configured for 48V), maintenance-free, designed for frequent cyclic discharge with 30% longer life than standby batteries.
✓Solar Panels and MPPT Integration. Compatible with wide PV arrays via the inverter's MPPT (up to 80A charging current); panels not included but customizable (e.g., monocrystalline for Kenyan sunlight).
✓High-Surge Loads. Low-frequency design excels with motors, pumps, tools, and appliances requiring high startup surges; pure sine wave safe for sensitive electronics like fridges and TVs.
✓Hybrid Versatility. Supports grid/generator integration with configurable priorities; ideal for rural homes, businesses, or industrial backup in Kenya.
✓Extended Backup. Up to 12-20 hours on full load with deep-cycle Ritar batteries (e.g., 200Ah+ bank), depending on solar input and usage; excels in prolonged outages due to low-frequency efficiency.
✓ke Product Description The Ritar Must 6kW Low Frequency Solar Kit features the Must PV3000 VHM series hybrid inverter, offering an economical, low-frequency solution for off-grid and hybrid applications in Kenya

Frequently Asked Questions — Solar Panels

Sizing, cloudy-day performance, connections and warranty.

What size solar panel do I need?

Start from your daily energy use in kWh. In Kenya a panel produces roughly its rated watts x 5 peak sun hours x 0.8 per day — so a 200W panel gives ~0.8 kWh/day and a 400W panel ~1.6 kWh/day. Divide your daily kWh by that figure, then add 20% for cable and inverter losses.

Will it work on cloudy days?

Yes, at reduced output. Heavy cloud can cut output to a small fraction of the rating; light cloud cuts it far less. Size the array and battery bank with 30-40% margin if you need dependable power through cloudy spells.

Monocrystalline or polycrystalline — which is better?

Monocrystalline panels are more efficient (18-23%) and use limited roof space better. Polycrystalline is slightly less efficient and cheaper. Check the cell type in the specifications above.

What do I need besides the panel?

For a battery system you need: a charge controller (MPPT preferred), a battery, and for AC appliances an inverter. Solar cable and DC breakers complete the set.
