What size inverter do I need?
Add up the running watts of everything you will use at the same time, then add about 30% headroom. Motors such as fridges and pumps draw two to three times their running power at start-up, so size for that surge. A typical home backup set-up is 2–5kVA. This model is rated 3KVA.
Does an inverter work without batteries?
