What pressure do I need to wash a car?
About 1,500–2,500 PSI is plenty for cars. Higher pressure suits trucks, commercial use and cleaning concrete. Flow rate matters as much as pressure for rinsing quickly.
Petrol or electric car wash machine?
Petrol machines are portable and need no mains power, which suits mobile washing. Electric machines are quieter and cheaper to run where power is available.
Can I use it for a car wash business?
Choose a machine rated for commercial or continuous duty, with a strong motor and a quality pump, and size to your daily number of cars. Tell us your volume and we will advise.
What accessories do I need?
A gun and lance, interchangeable nozzles, a high-pressure hose and a foam lance make washing faster. Check the specifications above for what is included.
My machine has no pressure. What should I check?
Check the water supply and inlet filter, air in the pump, a blocked nozzle, kinks or leaks in the hose and worn seals or valves. Let it run with the trigger open to purge air.
