Frequently Asked Questions
What are the main specifications of the 2 Inch x 30M Canvas Layflat Delivery Pipe?
Key details: 30Metres; 2Inch Outlet; Durable; Pressure Irrigation Fabric Hose; Lay flat irrigation hose. See the Key Features and Specifications sections above for the full list.
What is the difference between suction and delivery hose?
Suction hose is reinforced so it does not collapse under vacuum and must be airtight. Delivery hose carries pressurised water away from the pump and can be flexible, such as layflat.
What pipe size should I use with my pump?
Match the pipe to the pump's inlet and outlet. Longer runs lose pressure to friction, so go up one size for runs over about 50 metres.
How much pipe do I need?
Measure from the water source to the farthest point you want to reach and add about 10% for bends and joints.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Check the material in the specifications. Shading pipes from direct sun when not in use extends their life.
